Process Description
Hot water cleaning, or water bath cleaning, uses a large volume of hot water entering from the front windshield compartment to flush out any residual iron, slag, dust and other dirt from the vehicle internals, while softening the grease, easing the degreasing process in the next stage. More complete automobile automotive spraying pre-treatment processes include hot water cleaning, pre-degreasing, degreasing, washing, polishing and phosphate treatment. Water of 40-70°C is used to wash away most of the contaminants, reducing the load on the degreasing process.
